Good Day Cat Cafe began as Tabby & Fidos, Northwest Ohio's first cat cafe, founded in Bowling Green in 2023 by a mother and daughter team with a shared love for cats and a passion for helping animals in need.

As lifelong Bowling Green residents, we saw firsthand the growing number of homeless cats in our community and the challenges faced by local shelters and rescues. We knew there had to be a way to help more cats find loving homes while creating a positive, welcoming space for people to connect with animals and each other.

Over the years, we helped more than 200 cats find homes and welcomed thousands of visitors through our doors. When the building of our original location (Tabby and Fidos) was sold, we were forced to move or close. With nearly all of our resources invested in the business, the future of the cat cafe was uncertain.

On the very last day of our lease, a family friend helped us secure a new location right here in downtown Bowling Green. With the support of our community, we launched a GoFundMe campaign to help bring the new space to life. Thanks to the generosity of 218 donors, we reached our fundraising goal and were able to continue our mission.

Good Day Cat Cafe exists because of the kindness, talents, and support of so many people. We are especially grateful to Jessie Walton Summers for creating our beautiful branding and graphic design, Correy Adams for painting our incredible cat lounge mural, our husbands for countless hours of hard work and free labor, and every donor, volunteer, supporter, and community member who believed in us along the way.

Our mission is simple: to help adoptable cats find loving homes, support local shelters and rescues, and create a space filled with comfort, connection, and joy. Every adoption opens a spot for another cat in need, allowing shelters to help even more animals throughout our community.

Today, Good Day Cat Cafe is more than just a cafe. It's a place where cats receive second chances, adoptions create new beginnings, and the community comes together through a shared love of animals. Whether you're visiting to enjoy a drink, relax with the cats, meet your future best friend, or simply brighten your day, we're grateful to share this space with you.
