How Our Space Works

It’s a place where you can come and relax, have a drink, and browse a selection of treats and cute merchandise - all while being in the presence of our adorable and adoptable feline friends. Our cat lounge is a dedicated, cage-free environment for our foster cats who live here until they meet their furrever family. Enjoy up to 50 minutes of playing, petting, and cozying up with our many cats. 

Our cafe side is available to everyone and does not require reservations. You can still watch the cats from our awesome glass window.

Reservations into our cat lounge are required so we can limit how many people we have interacting with the cats as we do not want them to become stressed or overwhelmed. Each reservation also allows us to continue our mission of fostering and finding homes for our cats.

Walk-in reservations are only available if there is enough room. We highly recommend booking in advance!

Your reservation includes access to our cat lounge for the duration of your visit. Drinks, snacks, and merchandise may be purchased separately.

Reservations are held for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their reservation and are not guaranteed entry or a credit.

Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled up to 4 hours before your visit. For online reservations, cancellations and rescheduling can be completed using the link in your booking confirmation email. Walk-in reservations must contact us directly at least 4 hours before their scheduled visit to cancel or reschedule.

Reservations canceled at least 4 hours before the scheduled visit will receive a gift card for the full value of the reservation. No-shows and reservations canceled within 4 hours of the visit are not eligible for a gift card or credit.

Yes. All guests must review and agree to our Cat Lounge Rules & Waiver before entering the cat lounge.

Cat lounge visits are recommended for ages 7 and up. Younger children are welcome with close adult supervision.

Yes. Our cat lounge is wheelchair accessible through our main entrance located in the alley next to the café.

We provide an amazing, cage-free environment for the cats that reside with us and that costs money.  Every cat lounge entry fee allows us to continue our mission of fostering and finding cats homes. Your support is used to care for our foster cats, the attendants who keep them safe and healthy, and alleviate space issues at our humane society. Even if you're not able to adopt, our foster cats benefit from your love and attention while they transition.

Please do not feed them any human food. We do not allow outside food or drinks. 

No. For the safety and health of our resident cats, outside pets are not permitted.

We typically have around 8-12 cats in our lounge at one time. Check out our current cats before your visit!

Our partners, For The Love of Cats, Toledo Animal Rescue, and Wood County Humane Society, are in charge of all adoptions. A pre-approval application must be submitted to be considered. All applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You must pay the cat lounge entry fee to meet the cats before adoption.

Find a stray kitty? Good Day Cat Cafe does not take in kitties directly through the cafe. If you adopted from us and need to return the cat, you MUST contact the rescue you adopted from.

Customer parking is available in City Parking Lot 4 behind our building. Additional street parking is available on Main Street and West Wooster Street. Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and check-in before your reservation.

Our front-facing door on Wooster Street is not accessible to the public. Please follow the signs on the building to our main entrance, located in the alley next to the cafe.

In-store purchases, we accept cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

We accept Apple Pay, Credit/Debit, and Good Day Cat Cafe gift cards for online reservations.

We do not have a public phone number! Please email (preferred) or message us on our socials. We (owners) directly respond to all messages as soon as possible.
