How Our Space Works

A cat cafe is a place where you can relax with a drink, browse a selection of treats and cute merchandise, and spend time with adorable adoptable cats.

Our cat lounge is a dedicated, cage-free environment where our foster cats live until they find their furrever families. During your 50-minute session, you can play, pet, and relax with the cats while getting to know their unique personalities.

Our cafe is open to everyone and does not require a reservation. Even if you're not visiting the cat lounge, you can still enjoy a drink or treat while watching the cats through our large viewing window.

Reservations are required for our cat lounge to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for both our guests and cats. Limiting the number of visitors helps prevent the cats from becoming stressed or overwhelmed while they wait to find their furrever families.

Walk-ins for the cat lounge are welcome when space is available, but we highly recommend booking in advance.

Our cafe is open to everyone and does not require a reservation.

Your reservation includes access to our cat lounge for the duration of your visit. Drinks, snacks, and merchandise may be purchased separately.

Reservations are held for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their reservation and are not guaranteed entry or a credit.

Reservations may be canceled or rescheduled up to 4 hours before your visit. For online reservations, cancellations and rescheduling can be completed using the link in your booking confirmation email. Walk-in reservations must contact us directly at least 4 hours before their scheduled visit to cancel or reschedule.

Reservations canceled at least 4 hours before the scheduled visit will receive a gift card for the full value of the reservation. No-shows and reservations canceled within 4 hours of the visit are not eligible for a gift card or credit.

Yes. Before completing your reservation, all guests must review and agree to our Cat Lounge Rules & Waiver by checking the acknowledgment box during booking. You will not be able to complete your reservation without agreeing to the waiver.

Cat lounge visits are recommended for ages 7 and up. Younger children are welcome with close adult supervision.

Yes! Our cafe and cat lounge are wheelchair accessible. A portable ramp is always available at our main entrance to assist with access if needed.

Our cat lounge admission helps provide a safe, enriching, cage-free environment for the foster cats in our care. Every admission directly supports our mission to care for adoptable cats while they wait to find their furrever families.

Your visit helps provide food, litter, toys, enrichment, and daily care for the cats, supports the staff who keep them safe and healthy, and helps our rescue partners free up valuable shelter space. Even if you're not looking to adopt, your visit gives our cats valuable socialization and love while they wait for their forever homes.

Please do not feed them any human food. We do not allow outside food or drinks. 

No. For the safety and health of our resident cats, outside pets are not permitted.

We typically have 8-12 adoptable cats in our cat lounge at any given time, though the number may vary as cats are adopted and new ones arrive.

Our rescue partners, For The Love of Cats and Wood County Humane Society, are in charge of all adoptions. A pre-approval application must be submitted to be considered. All applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You must pay the cat lounge entry fee to meet the cats before adoption.

Find a stray kitty? Good Day Cat Cafe does not take in kitties directly through the cafe. If you adopted from us and need to return the cat, you MUST contact the rescue you adopted from.

Customer parking is available in City Parking Lot 4 behind our building. Additional street parking is available on Main Street and Wooster Street. Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and check-in before your reservation.

Our front-facing door on Wooster Street is not open to the public. Please follow the signs to our main entrance, located in the alley next to the cafe (Union Alley).

In-store purchases, we accept cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

We accept Apple Pay, Credit/Debit, and Good Day Cat Cafe gift cards for online reservations.
